Jessica & Evan | Garden of the Gods Resort & Club

This year has been tough for so many people and businesses, and the wedding industry has been hit particularly hard. My heart goes out to all the brides who have scheduled, rescheduled or had to cancel their weddings. Jessica and Evan were so fortunate to get married on their original wedding day and the weather couldn’t have been more gorgeous! The Garden of the Gods rock formations are a beautiful backdrop for a fall wedding, and Jessica didn’t want to hide that with an arch. We created a beautiful ground floral piece that added interest and complimented the colors and feel of the backdrop. The color palette we used were shades of orange and a touch of ivory and dark yellow. We used woods, terra cotta and ivory ceramics to give an earthy feel to the design. I love how everything turned out! Plus, I was able to use a local artist to create the terra cotta tea light holders! Ink and Mud did a fabulous job! I’m so thankful for this year. My heart is tired, but it’s also full. It has been hard, yet good in so many ways. Working with my friends on this wedding and seeing them for the day meant the world to me. I also made some new ones!
